Volunteer Day – Garden Operations: now June 13, 2010 @ 2:00 pm
Help! The food bank plots at the Grow Regina gardens are in desperate need of weeding. This message is going out to you since you indicated on your volunteer application that you were interested in weeding. Are you able to join us for a weeding party at 2pm this now Sunday June 13th? Thank you to our volunteers who Adopted-a-Food Bank plot and Lionel for rototilling most of the plots.
All but two plots have now been weeded, rototilled, planted with a variety of crops such as potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, beets, and onions.
Also, thank you to all the members who donated their excess potatoes and seed packages.
