Grow Regina has several projects in mind for the YARA-Grow Regina Community Garden, 3500 Queen Street, Regina. Below is a sample of plans needing your support.

    • Cicansky Gazebo: Vic Cicansky is in the process of designing a gazebo for the center circle at YARA-GRCG. Vic is planning to introduce the preliminary gazebo designs at a ‘Garden Party by Invitation Only’ hosted by Carole Byrant on behalf of Grow Regina. Our goal is to raise enough funds to begin building in the next 2-5 years.  A portion of the profits from the sale of the Cicansky Mini-Sculptures are tagged for this project.  To support this project, please contact the Fundraising, Planning & Development Committee Chair at contact@growregina.ca
    • Plant a Row – Grow a Row (PAR-GAR): is a program that encourages gardeners and Regina residents to grow root crops for donation to The Regina Food Bank.  Grow Regina reserves up to 15% of the community garden space to produce crops that are dedicated to this cause.  Several volunteers Adopt-a-Food Bank plot providing care from seeding to harvest with seed potatoes provided by Grow Regina. To support this project please contact the Adopt-a-Food Bank Co-Chairs at contact@growregina.ca
    • Solar Composting Toilet: has been a long standing item on our wish list. Solar Composting Toilet have been used across Canada in national parks.  In fact, the YARA Community Garden has been operating a composting toilet in Moose Jaw for several years.  With the support of your donations and the approval of the City of Regina, we hope to see one of these units at YARA-GRCG in the near future. For more information, please visit this links http://www.cityfarmer.org

Grow Regina also accepts smaller donation items, cash and inkind donations for ongoing projects.
