YARA-GRCG Orchard Applications
McLeod Park provides an opportunity for Regina to plant an orchard tree and/or adopt a tree. Space is still available in the YARA-GRCG Orchard for approximately 8 new tree applications.
In 2010, approximately 126 various fruit bearing native species will be planted this spring as part of the Evergreen Community Greening Project : Buffalo Berry, Cranberry, Saskatoon, American Plum, Pincherry, Haskap, Hybrid Cherry, Hazel Nut and Crab Apple. These trees will be available as part of an Adopt-A-Tree program in the near future.
