Giving Garden

Grow Regina’s Giving Garden

Located at  J11 in the extreme north-west end of the garden. This plot is managed by our board member Donna Scott who plants it with donated seeds and maintains it with the help of 4 volunteers. The food grown in this plot is donated to: Carmichael Outreach, Souls Harbour and Salvation Army throughout the season. If you have seeds or plants to donate or would like to volunteer to the Giving Garden contact Grow Regina.

Donna Scott and Janice Weppler.

At one time, Grow Regina was associated with the Regina Food Bank and now, even though we are no longer a Food Bank partner our tradition of giving back to the community continues by donating food.  To learn more about the garden’s history click here https://growregina.ca/who-are-we/history/

Grow Regina gardeners are encouraged to share the bounty of their garden. Unless, you are preserving your harvest, you will have more than you can handle at one time.

Non-Commercial Use of Crops

Grow Regina members are not to sell their garden produce. If gardeners have extra produce, they are encouraged to donate to community organizations in need for example:
